Terms of use
Version of October 12, 2026
Draft: this document is being prepared for legal review and may change.
These terms explain how to use Ovyd — a non-profit learning project where teens aged 13–17 try out careers online. By signing up, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.
1. What Ovyd is
Ovyd is a free, non-profit online platform with career try-outs: short courses, a simulated working day, a quiz and certificates for finished try-outs.
We don’t sell courses, show ads or charge for any part of the service.
2. Who can use it
Ovyd is made for teens aged 13–17. When signing up, you confirm that your parents or other legal guardians know about it and have given their consent.
If parents didn’t give consent, they can contact us and we’ll delete the account with all its data.
3. Your account
- One account per person. Don’t share it.
- Use real details: your name goes on your certificate.
- Keep your password secret. If you think someone knows it, change it or contact us.
4. Rules of conduct
Use Ovyd honestly and with respect for others. You must not:
- try to access other people’s accounts or data;
- interfere with the site, bypass restrictions or overload it with automated requests;
- copy or share course materials for commercial purposes.
5. Course materials
Try-out materials (texts, videos, tasks) are for personal learning. You can use them for yourself, but you can’t sell them or present them as your own.
6. Certificates and results
A certificate confirms that you finished a try-out on Ovyd. It isn’t an educational document or qualification.
Quiz and try-out results are a hint, not a verdict. Decisions about your future are always yours.
7. Availability
We try to keep Ovyd running smoothly but can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove try-outs and features.
8. Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time — we’ll delete it together with all personal data.
We may limit or close access if these terms are seriously broken.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll announce it on the site and ask you to agree to the new version. The version date is shown on this page.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. For questions about them, contact us using the details below.
