About us
A career is worth trying before you choose it
Ovyd is a non-profit learning project for teens aged 13–17. We make short career try-outs so your choice is yours — not a guess.
Three stories
The characters are made up, but their stories are built from situations teens really run into when choosing who to be.

Marta, 15
“I was sure I’d become a doctor”
Marta tried “Health and medicine” and honestly told herself “not really”: night shifts and split-second decisions weren’t for her. But the lab turned out to be the most interesting part. Her next try-out — “Natural sciences” — got her first “interesting”.
Not really → Interesting
Ostap, 16
“I thought I wanted to make games”
Ostap took the “Game designer” try-out and noticed what he liked most wasn’t drawing worlds but balancing numbers and spotting patterns. He tried “Data analyst” — and that was “mine”.
Interesting → Mine
Sonia, 13
“I didn’t know where to start”
Sonia took the quiz and got five try-outs. Two of them were “not for me” — and that was surprisingly useful: it became clear what she definitely didn’t want. The “Vet” try-out clicked so well that she signed up to volunteer at an animal shelter.
Not for me ×2 → Interesting
What we believe
Try instead of guessing
It’s better to see a career from the inside, even for a few days, than to choose it by its name.
“Not for me” is a result too
A career ruled out brings you closer to your own. We never treat that answer as failure.
No rankings, no competition
Everyone moves at their own pace and only compares themselves with themselves.
Honest about careers
We show both the exciting parts and the routine — no gloss, no promises of “success”.
Why non-profit
We don’t sell courses or show ads: choosing a career shouldn’t depend on who paid more. That’s why every try-out, the quiz and certificates are free.
